In loose watercolour classes you will learn to paint the idea of an object, to show the essence, the impression (not the semblance), to do with a less, You will paint every day simple objects from photo reference - flowers, fruit, vegetables, architecture. This painting style is similar to meditation - it brings ease and joy to the process, however requires focus - as most of the strokes that are put on the paper are not possible to "undo". Also, many times you will have to leave the control and to embrace the unexpected - the flow of the pigment, drops or the natural blending of two colours into each other.

Class is held every Thursday 5.15-6.45pm
